Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how TargetHit ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website and use our services. By continuing to use our website, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how their site is being used.

1.1 Types of Cookies

  • Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser
  • Persistent Cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them
  • First-Party Cookies: Cookies set by the website you are visiting (TargetHit)
  • Third-Party Cookies: Cookies set by external services integrated into the website

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

Apart from the first-party sign-up source cookie (th_ft) described in section 2.5, we do not set analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are viewed; it works without cookies. The advertising and measurement cookies described in section 2.5 are not anonymous.

2.4 Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies. These cookies are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy.

2.5 Advertising and Measurement Cookies

These cookies are set by the OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads) measurement pixel and the Meta Pixel. They recognize your browser and link a visit or sign-up to an ad click, so we can measure which ads work. They are not anonymous. We also set one first-party cookie of our own, th_ft, when you arrive from another website or from a link with campaign tags: it remembers the campaign tags, the page you landed on, the referring website's name and the date, so that if you create an account we know which campaign brought you. It contains no IP address and is not shared with anyone. See section 4.6 of our Privacy Policy for the data these partners receive.

3. How to Manage Cookies

3.1 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these in the "Options," "Settings," or "Preferences" menu of your browser.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

3.2 Opt-Out of Advertising Measurement

We do not currently offer an on-site setting to turn off the OpenAI and Meta pixels. To stop them, you can:

  • Block third-party cookies or scripts in your browser settings
  • Use an ad blocker or tracker blocker
  • Email us at [email protected]

3.3 Consequences of Disabling Cookies

If you disable or delete cookies, some features of our website may not function properly:

  • You may not be able to stay logged in
  • Your preferences may not be saved
  • Some interactive features may not work
  • You may see less relevant content

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Our website currently does not respond to DNT signals. However, you can manage your privacy using the cookie controls described above.

5. Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:

  • Local Storage: Browser storage for persistent data (similar to cookies but with more storage capacity)
  • Session Storage: Temporary browser storage cleared when you close your browser
  • Pixel Tags: Small graphics used to track user behavior and conversions

These technologies are used for similar purposes as cookies and are subject to the same controls.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
